Our Story

Cozy Home Co Candles is a woman owned and operated business, founded in 2020.

Our founder and candle maker, Bethany, started Cozy Home Co. as a way to pass the time during lockdown surrounding the COVID19 pandemic, and also as a method of stress relief from her day job as a Registered Nurse. Our Wild Honey Nectar and Maple Latte candles were her original inspiration scents to create for her own home. During the “trial and error” process, she gave out tester candles to family and friends -- with great success! Candle making quickly became more than just a hobby, and her love for home decor and candles turned into so much more!

Our mission is simple: to help you find your happy place. Surround yourself with expressions of yourself, with things that hold meaning and memory, with colors and smells that soothe your soul. We want to help you curate and create a home that you love being in. Joanna Gaines said it best: “We believe in home, that it should restore us from today and ready us for tomorrow.” We aspire to make candles that center and ground your home, making it the place you love to be the most. Our scents are inspired by the things that we love about each season, and thoughtfully produced to both meet the luxury desires of your heart and remain at accessible prices.

Each candle is carefully wicked, poured and labeled by hand. Each ingredient in our candles is chosen with you in mind; to bring you luxury and coziness in an eco-friendly and health conscious way. We strive to use recyclable and compostable materials, so if you see any plastic in your shipment, be aware that we reuse packing materials from our own personal shipments to reduce and reuse! We encourage you to reuse your candle containers after your candle is gone to support the health of our environment and reduce waste.
